AMHA - American Miniature Horse Association

The association (AMHA) issues registrations for miniature horses up to 34inches that meet specified standards of perfection. They have all the necessary forms to register, transfer,etc. miniature horses. Also, AMHA keeps a record of the DNA, breeding, and offspring of herdsires that can be accessed by breeders, potential buyers, etc. As well, the AMHA keeps records of show qualifications and annual results. 

AMHR - American Miniature Horse Registry

The AMHR is the registry for miniature horses 34' to 38'' tall. They also include AMHA registered horses. Like the AMHA, the AMHR registry has specific standards of perfection that must be met to register your animal. They keep track of registrations, DNA data, pedigrees, show qualifications and results, and have an online studbook that keeps track of herdsires in the registry.

WCMHC - Western Canadian Miniature Horse Club (Alberta)

The WCMHC is an associated club with both the American Miniature Horse Association and with the American Miniature Horse Registry. The purpose of the Club is to: Develop and promote the Miniature horse breed. Develop and promote good fellowship among other people and associations. Encourage the breeding, training and exhibition of good quality Canadian stock.
